Trial Flights
A trial flight is a fantastic way to experience what flying is all about.
With one of our professional flight instructors at your side, you will actually get to pilot either one of our Slings or one of our Cessna 152 Aerobats.
During your flight you will learn the basics of taxiing, take-off and how to keep straight and level during flight. What’s more, if you decide to continue training, you can log your trial flight in your pilot’s logbook.
Experience Aerobatics
If it’s the thrill of loop the loops and barrel rolls you’re chasing, our flight instructors can help with that, too.
Aerobatics experiences are available on our 45-minute and one-hour Cessna flights.

Vintage Tiger Moth Flights
Step back in time to enjoy the magic of an open cockpit and a spectacular joy flight along the West Australian coast.
Experience the breath-taking views of Perth’s beautiful beaches in one of the Club’s 1940s-built de Havilland Tiger Moths. This is an extremely popular joy flight option and a unique way to experience our city.
Your Tiger Moth joy flight
On your arrival, your pilot will give you a brief history of this fabulous vintage flying machine and a safety briefing. Then you’ll be strapped into the cockpit of the Tiger Moth, complete with leather helmet and goggles, to experience an unparalleled view—from take-off to touchdown.
Leaving Jandakot, the Tiger Moth will head out to Fremantle, then meander up the coast, taking in the sights. Enjoy the wind in your hair (hair permitting) at 1,500 feet!
Finally, arriving back at Jandakot, as one of the few people who have flown in this amazing old lady of the sky, you will be presented with a certificate of membership to the exclusive Tiger Club.

Thrill Seeker Flights
Prepare for the ride of your life with our Super Decathlon Aerobatic Thrill Seeker Flights at Jandakot airport.
Strap yourself in and feel the G’s with one of expertly trained aerobatic pilots at the helm as you loop, barrel roll and wing over Cockburn Sound. Capable of sustaining stresses between +6g and -5g this confident but agile aircraft can maintain inverted flight for up to 2 minutes, but can you?
These unique flights are available exclusively in 45 minute rides and are intended only for the adventurous, definitely not for the faint hearted!

Scenic Flights
Our aircraft have seating for up to three passengers, so you, your family, and friends can experience Perth or Peel from the sky with a scenic flight from the Royal Aero Club of WA.
A half-hour Perth scenic flight allows you to experience Fremantle, Perth city, Kings Park and Cottesloe Beach from above. For a more memorable experience, take a one-hour Perth scenic flight and experience even more of Perth’s best-loved landmarks:

The Royal Aero Club of WA and our partners at Air Images can help you with all your aerial photographic needs, both locally and throughout Western Australia.
Utilising high-resolution digital equipment and the best lenses, we can ensure you get the images you are looking for.
