Each year, the Royal Aero Club of Western Australia celebrates and honors the memory of the actions and sacrifices of the Battle of Britain Air Crew, by having a Dawn Patrol across the City of Perth and over the Kings Park War Memorial, in an early morning tribute. Our traditional 45 minute Dawn Patrol leaves Jandakot Airport from 6am and flies in both formation and non-formation over Perth, leaving Jandakot for Freemantle, Cottesloe and the Kings Park War Memorial, before heading along Scarborough and Freemantle, to come back home to Jandakot.
Keep your eye on the sky, this date every yesar, between 6 and 7am, to see if you can catch sight of this wonderful aviation tribute! There’ll be a number of vintage Tiger Moths, as well as an eclectic selection of single and twin engine aircraft.
