Applicants are now invited to apply for this year’s Air BP Tom Millar Scholarships!
The two scholarships, to the value of $5,000 each, have been provided by Air BP and are intended to encourage and assist in the advancement of pilots who are undergoing training with the RACWA.
- The scholarships are open to all students who are RACWA Club Members.
- Applicants are required to hold a current CASA Aviation Medical and be 16 years of age or over.
- This training must be conducted between October 28th, 2017 and October 27, 2018.
- The funds are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and will be held in trust until such time as the recipients undertake further flying training with RACWA.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this award, the applicant should write not more than 400 words describing:
- Why they wish to learn to fly or pursue a career in aviation.
- Their aviation experience to date.
- Future flying aspirations
- A demonstrated commitment to furthering their flying training with the Club.
