WA AVIATION COLLEGE UPGRADES CERTIFICATE IV IN AVIATION TO THE NEW AVI50215 DIPLOMA OF AVIATION (AEROPLANE)
The WA Aviation College (the College) is pleased to announce that the Diploma in Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) has been added to the scope of nationally accredited courses the College is authorised to deliver.
All students who enrolled from the January 2016 course and have completed the Certificate IV in Aviation – Aeroplane are eligible to upgrade their qualification at no cost to themselves (the College will absorb the cost). Students currently enrolled on the Certificate IV in Aviation course will automatically transfer to the new Diploma Course at no cost.
Students who enrolled prior to January 2016 and have obtained the Certificate IV in Aviation qualification through the College may enrol on the new Diploma Course. The additional training is estimated to take one day of training and assessment. The entry requirements are:
- Current Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane)
- Current class 1 aviation medical
- Current Aviation Security Identification Card
The cost of the training, assessing and issuing of the Diploma is $450. Where necessary, the course material can be posted to students and the assessment conducted via Skype.
Only graduates of the College are eligible to enrol on the upgrade course.
