As a part of our corporate governance and to ensure accountability and transparency across RACWA’s practices, all members are invited to attend an information evening designed to deliver the progress of the club, presented six months from 2013 AGM.
General Manager David Currey will be presenting a report on the performance on the club and Club President Andrew Eldridge will also be making a presentation on the progress of our strategic plan.
The information evening will coincide with Tuesday’s Aviation Workshop Evening- RACWA clubhouse upstairs from 6:30pm.
Keep an eye out for reminders of the event in your email inbox prior to the night.
We strongly encourage the attendance of all RACWA’s member base- your involvement and interest is amongst our highest priorities.
Also appearing at the Information evening is DFES Air Operations Manager Adam Bannister.
Coming out from a particularly busy season for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Adam has agreed to lend us some of his time to discuss the process involved coordinating an often dangerous operation where precision is considered paramount.
Covering areas from mobilizing the air response, coordinating the actual bombing, sourcing the water from the helitacks, diverting the media helicopters and the aircraft specifications; Adam is very much a part of the often frantic front line response and hearing what he has to say may have you rethinking a possible career option.
Join us Tuesday for an evening not to be missed by Club members.
