RACWA has a massive responsibility come Australia Day every year.
Basically, it is our duty get the general public’s necks warmed up and have them getting use to staring at the skies before the fireworks begin. You can only imagine what a massive responsibility this truly is- and every consecutive year our pilots never fail to produce magic.
Coordinated by club favourite and ex-CFI, Werner Buhlmann, the pre-show entertainment is guaranteed to excite, astound and leave a massive audience that will be surrounding the swan river that day speechless.
The air show is sheduled to begin at 3:30- presenting an array of formations and aerobatic displays.
Along with the RAAF and Rotorvation- RACWA and member aircraft will make up the majority of the exhibition.
RACWA will be involved in everything, from the intricate art of skywriting to the vintage plane dog fight.
All the aircraft involved- including the Tiger Moths, Beechcraft 17, Beechcraft 18 and Texans will all be meeting at RACWA between 14:00hrs and 15:15hrs. Members and aviation enthusiasts, alike are encouraged to come to the club, have a drink and watch the planes preparing for their displays.
The air show itself will be a spectacle not to miss.
