Every year, around this time, the Royal Federation of Aero Clubs knocks on our door looking for aspiring pilots to give a heap of money to for them to better their aviation exploits.
Sound too good to be true?
It all starts with a trial introductory flight. You’re automatically eligible to enter for the scholarship if you take your flight between 15 October 2013 and 17 March 2014 and just as long as you’re over the age of 15 (before 7April 2014).
Sounds simple enough! Two prizes of $7700 worth of flying are available, donated by Air Services Australia. Winners are announced at the RFACA annual flying training conference on 7 April 2014 and announced in ‘The Australian’ newspaper under public notices.
So get to it. After you take your trial flight ask about the RFACA scholarship. It could be just the right step in your aviation direction.
